BALCK COBRA:
Another super mod from Kerala, this Bolero takes the guise of the mighty Hummer. While it is not as wide, the front grille has ben made to resemble the Hummer H3. Apart from that the bonnet scoop makes it look ultra cool. The closed styling all around the vehicle also resembles the Hummer H3. While it is far away from what a real Hummer would be, this Bolero gives it a head turning look and of course a talking point as well.Modified G-wagon Bolero:
One cannot but mention this particular Bolero that has been modified into a Mercedes G-Wagen SUV. It is styled like the G63 AMG. One look at the vehicle gives an insight into what intricate detailing has gone into making it look this way. On the road, anyone can mistake it for a Mercedes G-Class. Pictures of this Bolero, modified in Kerala have been a rage over the internet. Right from the front grille, to the bonnet and alloy wheels this Bolero cleverly mimics the G-Wagen and is one of the best mods you’ll find.
The Range Rover Sport may have shaken up SUV territory with its blistering performance, but what made it even more impressive was the fact that it was immensely capable off the beaten track too. Revere – a London-based tuning firm – decided 'style' was more important, and added enough skirting all round to remove anything that could be defined as ground clearance. But it's items like the Revere grille that really 'complete' the look. Consider this a Range Rover ruined
Spoiler alert, it's a Mansory – and really that should tell you enough. But the Mansory Velar is a special kind of kitsch. The Velar is one of the best looking SUVs arguably ever made. It follows the theory of a design being complete not when you've added everything, but when you've taken away everything you can. Look at those flush door handles if you need proof.
Hamann is the German tuning firm known for its work on the likes of BMW and Porsche, but the company has also been known to ruin a Range Rover or two. While some of its kits are a little more understated, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible Wide-Body is anything but.
The Evoque Convertible is already one of our least favorite RRs around, partially due to its pointlessness (a convertible SUV, really?) but throw in an extremely tacky wide-body kit, overly wrought fenders, bumpers, and side skirts – all immensely close to the ground – and giant wheels, and it kind of makes the whole visual far worse. Oh, and have you seen that exhaust? The Hamann wide-body Evoque Convertible seems the definition of tackiness in all aspects. So much for understated class.
Ranger Rover:
Range Rover may well be a model line-up under parent company Land Rover, but the models have established themselves almost entirely as a standalone sub-brand. Range Rovers are synonymous with class, luxury, and performance – both on- and off-road. Land Rover has established the Range Rover as the vehicle of choice for those who want to make a statement – those who want everyone to know they've made it in life.
But like all good things, some people just won't leave them alone, and several tuners have taken it upon themselves to 'improve' the Range Rover lineup in a few very special ways. These eight Range Rover nightmares are times it was simply taken too far. Sometimes, simplicity really is the ultimate sophistication
Not satisfied with your Range Rover being too passenger orientated? Well, Startech can turn it into the commercial vehicle you've always dreamed of. Startech is a company owned by the Brabus Group, which really tells you all you need to know. Well, they took a Range Rover and converted it into one of the world's most exclusive pickups ever, using a standard V8 Range Rover as a base and manufacturing more than 100 new bodywork components out of aluminum, carbon fiber, and steel.
The result is a pickup with a load-bay measuring 43 inches, with a remote-operated tailgate extending capacity by another 23 and a half inches. The pickup can be built from either long or short wheelbase Range Rovers, and you can get a wide-body version too, with new bodywork for "a touch of motor racing flair." The kicker is the Startech Pickup can be imported to many countries as a commercial vehicle, qualifying for tax benefits – because the Startech Pickup is really for the farmer who's made it in life. Consider us unimpressed.
All-Black Hyundai Creta With Modifications:
Hyundai launched the new-gen Creta in the Indian market about a few months ago, and the mid-size SUV quickly climbed to the top of the sales charts. The 2020 Creta has received an overwhelming response so far, and the car went on to become the best-selling SUV in the country last month
The 2020 Creta’s design has been kept in line with Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness theme. The bold styling draws a divided opinion, but it’s a fact that the new Creta’s design certainly makes a statement. However, there are always a few that aren’t satisfied with the package, and want their car to look unique.
The front end features a single red strip, running across the entire length of the grille, which breaks the monotonous all-black front fascia. At the rear, the CRETA badging has been removed from the tailgate in order to give it a neat appearance. As this Creta is right now in Pete’s garage, it is expected that its ECU has been remapped to give it a performance boost, atleast by 5-10%.
Talking about the Creta stock engine, the SUV is currently offered with three different powertrains – a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that generates 115 PS and 144 Nm; a 1.4-litre turbo petrol motor unit that belts out 140 PS of max power and 242 Nm of peak torque; as well as a 1.5-litre diesel motor rated at 115 PS/250 Nm.

This is the Best Modified Mahindra Thar We Have Ever Seen: Mahindra Thar is the closest cousin that Jeep Wrangler could get in the Indian car market. When comparing the prices for both of them, one could say that Thar is actually a value-for-money product within the off-road universe. Jeep Studio, a Coimbatore-based modifier, once worked on the last-gen model of Mahindra Thar and brought this beautiful product at the end.
Transforming the Mahindra Thar into Wrangler took a lot more than just putting new parts on the existing panels. It was a deep study based on the architecture of both Thar and the three-door model of the Wrangler that helped Jeep Studio achieve perfection in the final design.
Not even a single change was made in such a way that it would have made servicing the vehicle tough for Mahindra dealerships. All parts around the engine bay were kept stock as that would have helped the customer get easy spares in case of an emergency. Still, the biggest change was the addition of a metal roof that runs right from the Thar’s windshield to the rear end of the SUV.
In this digital rendering, we see that the front end of the Mahindra Thar has been completely changed. The front grille gets seven-vertical slits, and the dual-tone front bumper has been replaced by a custom off-road-spec unit. The round headlamps are now LED units, and the fog lamps are neatly integrated into the bumper, along with an electric winch.
At the sides, we see even larger wheels but with a design similar to the stock car. The tyres don’t seem to have a lot of profile, but do have all-terrain tread. The side step has been replaced by a minimalistic-looking rock slider. The ground clearance also seems to be a little raised, which could just be due to the wheels, or by a custom lift kit.
This modified Jeep Wrangler is up for auction and it looks ready to take on the apocalypse, and the person who built it wishes to remain anonymous.
The Wrangler which has been modified is a 2017 model which is the previous-generation and is left-hand drive and from the looks of it seems very American.
You can buy one from the RM Sotheby’s auction which will cost you around US$40,000 to $50,000 (Rs 30-35 lakh), but there are only a few days left of the auction so grab it while you still can.
While the person who owns it and the person who modified this Jeep Wrangler has not been disclosed by RM Sotheby’s, they are also quiet about engine specifications. However, the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 has been supercharged and the power is sent to the wheels via an upgraded 4.88:1 rear end through the 4WD system.
At the front is a Rock Slide Engineering bumper with a winch that is capable of hauling 5,443kg. which can only suggest that the modifications are extensive enough to have added significant weight to the vehicle, or it plans to winch itself to the moon.
Other modifications made to the Wrangler include a 5-inch lift kit, Fox shock absorbers, 22-inch wheels wrapped in massive off-road tyres all of which are placed below the ‘Bushwaker’ wheel arches. It also gets electronic steps to make it easy to get in and out of.. you know.
The amount of domestic tuners is quite high. They tend to churn out some of the most mind-blowing vehicles. From the engine block to smaller details such as badges, they have produced some of the greatest modified vehicles ever. However, very few have the same reputation as Hennessey Performance.
This is undoubtedly the meanest Isuzu V-Cross that you would see in India. This one belongs to Kerala and looks extreme from every angle. The front has been completely changed with a pipe-type bumper and gets a 6-inch lift. Combined with the aftermarket tyres and steel rims, this modified V-Cross can tower over any other vehicle in the vicinity with ease.
The body gets customized fenders so that they can accommodate the extra large wheels without any problem while there are extra light bars, LED tail lamps and auxiliary lamps that give it a menacing look.
