This very tastefully modified Mahindra Thar comes with some really cool off-road modifications and has won our hearts with its off-white and olive green paint job. The interiors too have been tastefully redone

The Mahindra Thar is one of the most modified vehicles on Indian roads and almost every owner who ever buys a Thar will surely do at least one modification on the SUV. It is also an extremely popular off-road vehicle and most modifications on the Thar are usually to enhance its off-road appeal and capabilities. In fact, its almost impossible to find a Thar in stock condition in the country. We have featured several modified Mahindra Thar’s over time and here again, we have come across a tastefully modified example .The first thing that immediately strikes you about this Thar is its very attractive dual-tone paint job of off-white and olive green. That’s not a color you usually see on the Thar and we indeed impressed by the color choice.

force gurkha

The Force Gurkha 2020 BS6 is already a good looking SUV. Strong sharp lines with iconic boxy design make the car stand out in the market.  The modified Gurkha however takes the style factor of the SUV up by several notches.  The beefed-up design looks as if the normal Gurkha has gone to the gym and transformed.  There is a new Bilstein suspension and big Maxis tires make the SUV look jacked up on steroids.  The new suspension is fully adjustable. The SUV is filled up with off-road accessories on the outside. Ladders, Grilles, luggage carrier, LED lights on the roof and much more interesting stuff make it the boldest off-roader. There are flared wheel-arches and hook points.  There are also jerry cans holders in the rear of the SUV to make you independent of fuel stops. More about Force Gurkha modification in India below.

force gurkha

The Force Gurkha is another lifestyle SUV that looks old school and rugged. Here’s a Gurkha that carries some minor modifications that make it look more aggressive. Like almost every other SUV here, even this Gurkha gets a custom metal bumper and a new grille. It also gets steel wheels shod with wider rubber, a faux hood scoop, a roof-mounted lightbar and a factory-provided snorkel.  Thanks to all these mods, this Gurkha enjoys a great road presence.

maruti gypsy

Driving a Maruti Gypsy has always been considered a sign of masculinity and toughness. This Gypsy, however, takes things to an entirely new level due to the various mods it offers. Here too, much of the boldness is owing to the bigger wheels and fatter tires. Moreover, the custom blue paint scheme screams for attention. The custom metal bumper adds a touch of ruggedness to the front-end. The snorkel completes the off-road look.  Other highlights include a custom hardtop and custom wheel arches.

toyota Fortuner

The latest-gen Toyota Fortuner impresses with its bold stance and slightly Lexus-ish looks. This modified Fortuner, however, ends up looking way bolder than the regular version owing to the various mods it carries. This Fortuner rides on larger multi-spoke black-painted alloy wheels shod with lower-profile rubber. The grille gets some LED fixtures while the bonnet gets a bug screen. While this SUV doesn’t carry any radical modifications, the bigger wheels give it a really very bold stance and stand-out looks.

modified bolero

The Mahindra Bolero has always been appreciated for its rugged, mini-G Wagon looks. This Bolero, however, looks significantly bolder than the regular variant. Much of it is due to the all-black paint scheme and wider tires. Also, the stock bumper has been replaced with a custom unit that also holds a pair of auxiliary lamps. The wheels have red-painted lips, which offer a strong contrast to the all-black bodywork. Bold and mean are two words that best describe this Mahindra Bolero.

best modified that ever seen

This is the Best Modified Mahindra Thar We Have Ever Seen: Mahindra Thar is the closest cousin that Jeep Wrangler could get in the Indian car market. When comparing the prices for both of them, one could say that Thar is actually a value-for-money product within the off-road universe. Jeep Studio, a Coimbatore-based modifier, once worked on the last-gen model of Mahindra Thar and brought this beautiful product at the end.

Transforming the Mahindra Thar into Wrangler took a lot more than just putting new parts on the existing panels. It was a deep study based on the architecture of both Thar and the three-door model of the Wrangler that helped Jeep Studio achieve perfection in the final design.

Not even a single change was made in such a way that it would have made servicing the vehicle tough for Mahindra dealerships. All parts around the engine bay were kept stock as that would have helped the customer get easy spares in case of an emergency. Still, the biggest change was the addition of a metal roof that runs right from the Thar’s windshield to the rear end of the SUV.

2020 thar modified to look like a wrangler

In this digital rendering, we see that the front end of the Mahindra Thar has been completely changed. The front grille gets seven-vertical slits, and the dual-tone front bumper has been replaced by a custom off-road-spec unit. The round headlamps are now LED units, and the fog lamps are neatly integrated into the bumper, along with an electric winch.

At the sides, we see even larger wheels but with a design similar to the stock car. The tyres don’t seem to have a lot of profile, but do have all-terrain tread. The side step has been replaced by a minimalistic-looking rock slider. The ground clearance also seems to be a little raised, which could just be due to the wheels, or by a custom lift kit.

This modified Jeep Wrangler on auction will shame all your SUV mods

trash Ferrari -430

Ferrari cars are, along with Lamborghinis, the best supercars to come out of Italy. For over 60 years, Ferrari cars have dominated racetracks throughout the world. Consequently, the Italian carmaker's reputation has been cemented thanks to ever-improving supercars.Given their status, Ferrari cars often end up in the hands of ultra-rich individuals. Sadly, taste does not always come with money. The camo wrap is so played out that it has become extremely difficult to pull off. The combination of colors is completely off and turns the car into a cheap Hot Wheels-looking creation

Perfection: Acura NSX

Japan went from being completely destroyed after World War II to becoming the most serious car producer in Asia. In the most recent past, Japanese carmakers have developed some of the most iconic cars ever made. Though not all of them are supercars, some Japanese carmakers such as Nissan and Acura have successfully manufactured supercars. The NSX is about $40,000 cheaper than a McLaren 570s. It really goes to show how amazing this supercar is. The 3.5L V6 produces 573hp. This tuned NSX produces 610hp and was equipped with aftermarket parts that gives it the aggressiveness it was lacking.

Trash: Aston Martin One 77R

Aston Martin is one of the most iconic British carmakers. Several Aston Martin cars featured in James Bond movies along with other motion pictures. Though Aston Martin released the highly controversial Cygnet, most of the company's vehicles are absolutely astonishing.Aston Martin is one of the most iconic British carmakers. Perfection: McLaren 570S

The United Kingdom does not really mass-produce cars. A lot of the cars available in the UK are either imports or badge engineered. However, when the Brits do produce cars, they tend to create some of the craziest cars ever made. Well-known in Formula 1, McLaren has manufactured a very limited number of highly powerful supercars. The McLaren 570S is pure beauty. Its overly racy design coupled with a powerful 3.8L V8 is exactly what a true gearhead wants. Producing 562hp, the 570S needs few modifications to look absolutely stunning. Some supercars require very little to turn heads wherever they go.

Perfection: Hennessey Ford GT1000

The amount of domestic tuners is quite high. They tend to churn out some of the most mind-blowing vehicles. From the engine block to smaller details such as badges, they have produced some of the greatest modified vehicles ever. However, very few have the same reputation as Hennessey Performance.

The Ford GT is one amazing car. There is no denying that. This GT1000 should be among the most powerful cars built by Hennessey Performance. As the name indicates, the GT1000 produces an astonishing 1,000hp. The modified twin-turbocharged 5.4L V8 was beautifully modified by Hennessey. As far as the aesthetics are concerned, it is a Ford GT for crying out loud. It does not need anything.

Mercedes Benz s-class

The S-Class is the flagship saloon from Mercedes-Benz. S-Class is one sophisticated looking vehicle. This owner of the S-Class had different ideas of sophistication. The beautiful looking S-Class now receives orange highlights on the wheels, front grilles, air intakes on the hood, ORVMs, and the window boundaries. The orange lights continue on the front bumper lip and the fog lamp housings. You just can’t unsee such a job on S-Class.

meanest v-cross

This is undoubtedly the meanest Isuzu V-Cross that you would see in India. This one belongs to Kerala and looks extreme from every angle. The front has been completely changed with a pipe-type bumper and gets a 6-inch lift. Combined with the aftermarket tyres and steel rims, this modified V-Cross can tower over any other vehicle in the vicinity with ease.

The body gets customized fenders so that they can accommodate the extra large wheels without any problem while there are extra light bars, LED tail lamps and auxiliary lamps that give it a menacing look.

expedition ready

There are now many expedition vehicles in India. However, this modification job has been done by Azad 4X4 and it looks brilliant. The SUV gets a hardcover on the flatbed, that ensures more space in the vehicle. At the roof, there is a foldable tent that can house two and space to keep fuel and other luggage.

It also gets a foldable metal staircase that will allow people to enter the tent and it forms the support base for the tent too. Camping can be a lot more fun when such modified vehicles with tent installed on the top are around.

quick modification

Here is a Isuzu D-Max V-Cross that gets a couple of modifications and still looks world apart when compared to the stock ones. It gets a 6-inch customized lift-kit with aftermarket wheel arches, wheels and snorkel.

The major change in the vehicle that changes the whole look is the wrap job done on it. The wrap job done by IDE works looks extremely good on the V-Cross. It gets layered body wrap with black and white being the major colors and yellow stripes in between. It sure look way different and much more aggressive than the stock!

The suspension system comes from Overland, a brand who has been making products for off-roading for a long time now. The truck also gets a front steel bumper with integrated winch and tow hooks.

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Generates 600 HP

The modified ‘67 Mustang gets its power from a Keith Craft 428 cu. in. side oiler FE V8 fitted with a Borla 8 stack fuel injection system, Edelbrock RPM Performer aluminum heads, and a Fast EFI, which generates 600-horsepower.

Last year, this Mustang Fastback full rotisserie Resto Mod was listed for sale at $179,900. However, the price was justified by modifications that earned the car a finalist placement for the Goodguys 2018 Muscle Machine of the Year Award.

2015 Galpin Auto Sports Ford Mustang Rocket

Henrik Fisker and Galpin Auto Sports teamed up to modify a 2015 Mustang adhering to a complete body redesignprocess (with carbon fiber body panels) while maintaining the original Mustang style. With inspiration from the 1968 GT500 and the Shelby modified cars of the 1960s, Fisker says, “You can see the themes of the Mustang, but I widened it and made it more aggressive, so the whole car is more muscular.”

1965 viscous mustang

While this Mustang maintains the appearance (vaguely) of the original ’65 version, the million-dollar vehicle has been heavily modified. Only its A-pillar carried over from the original 1965 model.

Appropriately named the Vicious Mustang, the work-of-art incorporates insane exterior kits, a red interior, and a massive Ford Performance 5.2-liter Aluminator engine and Magnuson MP2300 TVS supercharger. The Pony car produces an outrageous output of 1,000+ horsepower, just a tad more than the original 289 CID V8 that generated 271 hp.

Additional performance gear includes a modified ECU, cold-air intake, and MagnaFlow exhaust. Richard Petty personally signs every model.

3 Six wheels: The 2015 G63 AMG 6×6

One of the most legendary trucks anywhere in the world, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class 6×6 was built from 2013 to 2015.

Underneath an extended pickup version of the G-Class body is the twin-turbo V8, six wheels with six-wheel drive and portal axles, five electronic differential locks, and a luxuriously appointed G63 AMG interior fitting of an expensive sedan.

Among the 6×6’s other interesting features are a compressor that can reduce or increase tire pressure and an extra driveshaft for the rearmost wheels.

German tuner Brabus, which specializes in Mercedes vehicles, made an even more exclusive version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class 6×6 in 2015, with a body kit and the engine tweaked to 700 horsepower, enough to rocket the six-wheeler from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. Only a handful were built, and one of them, G-Wagon 6×6 in gloss black, is currently available at Hollmann International.
