Modified Maruti Gypsy ‘Shudder’ Looks Totally Badass

Maruti Gypsy has been one of the most iconic vehicles to have ever been sold in the country. While the SUV is no longer in production, it continues to enjoy a great fan-following. Many owners have even given their Gypsys a unique look through some modifications, which means that the SUV is a pretty popular model in the customization sector. Today, we have one such Maruti Gypsy that has been modified by Bangalore-based Motormind Automotive Designs, a popular car modifier.

The extremely skillful folks at Motormind have given the Gypsy a unique look through the several updates it carries. The customizers have christened this modified Maruti Gypsy as ‘Shudder’. The front-end of the SUV features a new grille that is flanked by a set of four daytime running lights on each headlamp. Speaking of the lights, even the roof features two LED lights housed inside the canopy.

Also, the bumper on this modified is sleeker than the one on the stock model. Also, the SUV features U-shaped LED turn indicators, while the front bumper features some styling bits on the sides. The Gypsy also carries a bash plate that further enhances the rugged look. While this Gypsy is based on the soft-top variant, the roof has been replaced by a canopy with a small rear glass window.

The side-facing rear benches have been removed as Motormind Automotive Designs has decided to offer a huge loading bay to make this Gypsy a strict two-seater. The side profile of the SUV carries flared wheel arches, aftermarket foot steps and new wheels shod with meatier rubber.

The rear-end gets a bash plate, a huge spare wheel on the boot gate. Speaking of the tires, this Gypsy feature Maxxis Bighorn tyres that improve the off-road capability of the vehicle.Inside, this modified Maruti Gypsy comes with sport bucket seats with GT-R evolution branding.

In sync with the car's enhanced off-roading capabilities, it has been fitted with towing hooks and a roof-mounted LED bar. Furthermore, a snorkel further enhances the water-wading capacity of the already lifted vehicle.

The lifted model features a pick-up body style, with the rear bench seats making way for a flatbed. The modified Gypsy even features a hood scoop and new bumpers.

The modified Maruti Gypsy by Motormind is among the most handsome models we've ever seen. In spite of carrying a plethora of modifications, this Gypsy doesn't look too wild or outlandish. Instead, the orange base paint scheme goes well with the several black bits the custom vehicle carries. The revised suspension, together with new wheels that are shod with huge all-terrain tires, gives this SUV a much bolder stance. Moreover, additions like that of the skid plate, honeycomb grille, plastic moulding on wheel arches, and roof-top LED lights further enhance the overall experience of the customised model.

Use of ample leather in the cabin not just makes it more upmarket, but it offers more comfort to the occupants. Besides, the beige upholstery with tan bits around steering wheel, gear knob, handle brake and seats enhances the interior look. The dual tone dashboard further complements it

Hyundai Elite i20 Modified With Air Suspension & Wide BodykitHyundai Elite i20 is in the Indian market since the year 2014. In the coming months, the South-Korean carmaker will be launching the next-gen model of the premium hatchback in the country. While the next-gen model is a looker, the outgoing model is loved for the same reason. However, Elite i20 owners can be seen modifying their rides extensively to make them look even better. The very first cosmetic modification that goes on to a car, in general, are the alloy wheels. But this one here features a lot of customisations that help it with increased appeal and improved performance. It gets the custom air suspension system from N1 Concepts. While this setup aids it with attention-seeking capabilities, it also helps it out with improved dynamics. Powering this modified Elite i20 is the 1.2L Kappa petrol motor, which delivers 83 PS of peak power and 113 Nm of max torque in its stock iteration. However, it has been tweaked out with the use of Wolf Moto Performance’s custom map for the ECU here.

ELITE “MUSTANG” I20

This Hyundai i20 modified example above gets a whole new custom Wide-Body kit. The front resembles the Ford Mustang quite well with the signature Ford Mustang trapezoidal 3-Part grille, large air dampers, larger air-intakes and faux Carbon-Fibre diffuser with red-contrast lining that is carried along the diffuser. There is a quad-LED DRL cluster on both sides below just below the stock headlamps that appear unchanged. The C-Pillars, Roof and ORVMs have been blacked-out. The Alloy wheels have been upgraded too with a new multi-spoke design that adds great finish to the overall look of the vehicle.Coming to the rear, smoked-taillights and faux-slit on the sides look very attractive and pleasing. There are twin exhaust-pipes divided by the red-contrast diffuser.

2020 Hyundai Creta Wants To Be A Range Rover –

The car has been draped around in dark grey matte wrap which does make it look a little different compared to the standard SUV. At front, the owner has installed a new aftermarket grille to make it look like a Range Rover.

Old fog lamps have been replaced by new aftermarket LED units. Headlamps haven’t been modified though and have been kept in the stock form. The modifiers have also installed a camera at the front which is most probably part of the 360 degree degree camera set-up.

On the sides, the modifiers have installed new 18-inch alloy wheelswhich come along with Land Rover logos. Multi colour vinyl tint has been added on the windscreen, brake calipers have been painted in red colour while the ORVMs get a gloss black color scheme.

To make the Creta look more like a Land Rover, the modifiers have also installed Land Rover badges on the side. To add to the premium feel, a sunroof has been installed by the modifiers however it is just a standard sunroof only.

Hyundai offers a panoramic sunroof on the top of the line Creta however as it is the base variant, the owners had to get the installation done from after-market modifiers. On the rear-end, a Rover badge has been installed while the brake lamps have been wrapped as well.

The dashboard gets a dedicated leather wrapping and a large infotainment unit too has been installed. Diamond stitched leather upholstery has been installed on seats and the rear seats also get individual infotainment units. Land Rover badges can be seen here also, on the seats and the steering wheel.

It needs to be noted that modifications are illegal as per law. Owners can make such modifications to their vehicles; however, changes made to the vehicle needs to be certified by the RTO.

The black-coloured modified Ford Endeavour in question here is one of the first Endeavours in India to get a seven-inch suspension lift kit, which has incredibly raised the stance of the SUV and makes it look huge. The additional things which accentuate its large size even further are 20-inch 10j monster rims which come wrapped with beefy Goodrich MT tires, 8-inch Fender flares and robust-looking monotube with nitrogen sub-tank with 12-step adjustability.

This customized Ford Endeavour has got some cosmetic add-ons too, which make it look dark and wicked. The list of these add-ons includes a Raptor X series body kit all around, while at the front, it gets carbon finished hood, MCC ranger snorkel, X glide roof lights, aftermarket projector headlamps with colour changing DRLs and Ford Raptor grille.

ArrayAt the back too, this modified Ford Endeavour has been blessed with some changes such as LED pillar spotlights, redesigned LED inserts in the tail lamps and rear reflectors. All the chrome and silver-finished components of this modified vehicle are treated in an all-black theme.

At the front, it gets carbon finished hood, MCC ranger snorkel, X glide roof lights, aftermarket projector headlamps with colour changing DRLs and Ford Raptor grille.

More about the Ford Endeavour
